FL WEEK 5 FEMALE AGE 17
Today was our firth week in the Greenstairs Academy program. We arrived at 8h46am in the masjid. The teacher LG is not back yet, and Sir S is not here too. So, Mr. C and Mrs. R were doing the class today. We did the zikr/meditation for about 15 minutes which went very well and after we start the class with the 3 pledges by saying them and explain them.
We talk about the metaphors we talk about last time. I explained “intention” who is very valuable. Mr. C tell us about “the road to not go to hell is pay with intention”. Sister A talked about tree trunk “one God, many faiths”. Student O talked about Greenstairs “toward a fully and truly Islamic world”. Brother M talked about God (GOOD) “so merciful”. After we talked about what happening on news this week and Mrs. R told us we must give more than just the tittle of the news to make it interesting.
We start talking about the news and specially the Mexicans aliens. A journalist and researcher on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), or UFOs as they’re better known, presented the remains of purported “non-human” beings to lawmakers in Mexico on Tuesday during the country’s first public congressional hearing on the topic. Jamie Maussan brought two boxes containing what he said were the small, stuffed bodies of extraterrestrials recovered in Peru in 2017. He said carbon-14 dating carried out by the National Autonomous University of Mexico had determined the remains were 700 and 1,800 years old. Each of the figures has only three fingers on each hand and elongated heads, resembling, at least superficially, the Hollywood-born character ET. “This is the first time it (extraterrestrial life) is presented in such a form and I think there is a clear demonstration that we are dealing with non-human specimens that are not related to any other species in our world,” Maussan told the lawmakers, urging them to consider the topic, which he said should not be viewed as “a political topic — it’s a topic for humanity.” He said DNA evidence could prove the specimens were not of this planet, but it wasn’t clear if any such tests had been carried out.
Then we talk about the soul and Mr. C asked us how we call it in Arabic and student O and sister A response the same answer “roukh” and Mrs. R asked us how we feed the soul and the answer was by always reminding of Allah, by doing zikr, by pronouncing the names of Allah… Mr. C showed us the third eyes on a dollar bill. We learned about the “power of purpose” to be determined of something and transfer knowledge. Purpose is an active expression of our values and our compassion for others—it makes us want to get up in the morning and add value to the world. The Power of Purpose details a graceful, practical, and ultimately spiritual process for making it central to your life. It is difficult to say Lahilaha Ilalha when you are dying if you didn’t get use to it at that time when your head is on something else like how my family going to survive or who is going to take care of them and not to make your soul rest by saying Lahilaha Ilaha and we did talk about the eye of the providence Eye of Providence was adopted as part of the symbolism featured on the reverse side of the Great Seal of the United States. It was first proposed as an element of the Great Seal by the first of three design committees in 1776, and is thought to be the suggestion of the artistic consultant, Pierre Eugene du Simitiere, and at the time, was a conventional symbol for God’s benevolent oversight. Mr. M joined the class so we explained to him what we did and Sister A asked him what news he was tracking and he said none of them since 1 or 2 years he stopped watching news because he thinks that before worried about the whole world be set up with himself and him surrenders because if you are set up with your own you going to add more problem to yourself so that was his point of view.
H asked us what the news in our school and main point are was the Homecomings, he told us he never went to a homecoming so what was the purpose of it and the students couldn’t give a perfect respond because none of us had the experience too. We just known that there will have a football game and a dance before the dinner and Mrs. R said she will let her daughter go but with her friends Hijabies as a group but the purpose It is a way for students to come together and show their support for their school and their community. Homecoming week is a time for students to have fun and create memories that will last a lifetime. Homecoming is also important because it brings together alumni and the community.
We talked about Ayatul Kursi (also known as the Throne Verse) which is the one of the most powerful verses of the Qur’an that Allah (SWT) has revealed to seek protection, guidance, sustenance, blessings, mercy, Jannah, and much more. There are plenty more benefits of Ayatul Kursi which can be seen in this article and Mrs. R told a story about that who was very interesting, and Mr. M told us this dua is the summary and God introducing himself and Allah is the one who can make interception.
It was time to test out for everybody and make it perfect. At that time Mrs. J came and she though us that Islam is not just a religion but a way of life and a tool to guide us.
At the beginning I was not sure that I could do the program but right now I am determined to do it and have leadership skill and not to be nervous when I am speaking in front people. For next week we must perfect our salah in English.
