Dear Daddy,<\/strong> Happy Fathers\u2019 day! Hope you enjoy your gifts because I enjoyed picking them out for you. How are Grandma Parker and Grandma Miller. How is princess! How big is she! I got the tea you sent me and I used your recipe for iced tea it\u2019s really good. I have iced tea every morning\u00a0 because it\u2019s way too hot for coffee. Do they have Arizona\u2019s in South Carolina? It\u2019s almost like pre-made iced tea. One of the moms friend came over and remodeled the house. I cant wait till you see it. Love, Imany<\/p>\n

Dear Father,<\/strong> Thank you. Thank you for everything you have done while you were with us. Today is Fathers day and to be honest I am not crying like the rest of the family. In fact, I am not sad at all. This is the first Fathers day without you and of course I miss you but I know that you are in a much better place so I am not sad. Although, the past year has been the toughest year the family has ever experienced. I wish you were here to help us out because right now everything is a mess. Hopefully it will get better soon. We are all praying for you and all are wishing you were here right now. But don’t worry about us; we will get through it. We all love you and miss you. Dear Father,<\/strong> I remember you saying that fathers day should be just another day. I remember you said that the Fathers day is the saddest day in the world for so many children without someone to call dad. I guess I fall into that group now, a group of kids without dads, and that this would be saddest day of the year for me, and in some ways I guess it is, and in other it is a happy day, because I can reflect on what a wonderful father I had, and still have. Only now in my heart rather than by my side. You are the most loving, intelligent, wise father I could ask for. I wish you were still with me physically, but you have given me enough strength and love to live peacefully even without your physical presence. I want to thank you for that. Thank you. I\u2019m very thankful that you are getting healthy and i can’t wait to see you again. I think that if you and I are given a chance to reunite, I will make the most out of it. My first assignment is to write a letter to you and I feel like I can write a book with things to say. My words will never be enough to express how I feel about you. For the past few weeks I\u2019ve been reading and last night I made my decision to convert to Islam. When I came I was welcome and I felt that I was home. Thank you for never giving up on me even at times when I have been stubborn or hard to deal with. I am so grateful to have a father who cares a lot about everything that goes on in my life and wants better for me than you do for yourself. I hope someday I will be able to repay you somehow for all you have done, are doing, and will do in the future to help me become the person that I am today. Dear father,<\/strong>\u00a0I appreciate everything you have done to raise me up to this point in my life. I\u2019m at a critical stage of my teenage years where I can easily go astray and make wrong decisions, and at some points I have. Sometimes, to a point at which I am doubtful of any hope but now matter what wrong I seem to do you always cheer me up. I guess when you told me to think of you more as a friend than a father, I shouldn\u2019t have let it go through one ear and out the other. I know I say that now but I bet the next thing you tell me I will do the same but you\u2019re always there to reiterate advice. So in the end I don\u2019t realize the importance of your words but it is nice to know that someone cares.
